Took an early lunch yesterday morning at 10 am and headed over to a new spot that looked promising, after 20 minutes I got a good deep signal that was a1952s roosie at 7 inches ! A fter drifting around that area awhile to see if there were any more to be had, I moved over about 40 yards and got several good deep targets 3 more silver dimes one a 1936d merc 3 wheats all from the fifties and my first Frankin half!! 1951 Then my batteries died I had some lithium batteries in the Explorer2 for a long time and every time I started her up the battery gauge read full so when the battery charge bottomed out yesterday I was kind of surprised! Anyway here is a pic or two! The bullet looking piece is actually a Avon product. HH Mark

Quit it, Mark! You're making the rest of us look bad! Kidding!!!! Great job. I wish I could manage half your talent for finding silver. Hey I did manage to score a rosie at Arcadia Park yesterday, so it wasn't a total skunker. But thanks for showing us how it's really done.

Dan

Thanks guys for the all replies, that Frankin was not more than a foot from the other coins they were all within a 16 inch radius of one another. I think why they were still there all this time is that they were next to a sprinkler cap and above a sprinkler pipe, after I dug them I still got good readings indicating more silver , but further excavation has to be another day. Dan Your too kind Its just a matter of luck.
