Interesting day yesterday. Found not one but two stolen cars.
Went digging after work and when I got home there was no place to park my truck. Well that hadn't happened in this neighborhood before. Kinda strange. No one around and I've never seen this car before.
What I did was block the offending car in and proceeded to unload my digging gear and work gear. Well I was dragging my feet taking my time doing this task with high hopes that someone would return and fetch this thing so I could park and put my head down on a pillow.
No one magically appeared. Okay, it's a holiday I'll give it some more time. Well, I'm running out of steam and just plain ready for bed. Since there are only 4 units here I went door knocking. No luck.
Well, I'm really struggling with this because I'm tired. Well, I decided that I would have the car towed. I really didn't want to have someone towed and being it's a holiday I really felt bad.
Tow truck shows up and we do some consulting. I felt the car that was parked next to the car in my spot was stolen. At this point I just want the car that is parked in my spot out. It's past my bedtime.
Come to find out that the car parked in my spot and the one next to it were both stolen. Boy did that make me feel better about having to get these cars towed.
Now if the thieves parked them across the street in one of those complexes they could have been parked there for months before anyone noticed them.
Since the thieves parked them where I live and I took action, 2 people are getting their cars returned.
So don't ask me why I have these expensive detectors.
In case your wondering I found more in the drive way than I did out detecting.
Goes to show ya that you never know what your gonna find.
