Hi Brian,
If you go into that link and hit "Attractions," you will see that one of the John Daggett's 1894s Barber dime will be on display. This one of 24 that was minted is graded at Proof-66. This same dime will go on auction next month by David Lawrence Rare Coins, Virginia Beach, Virginia. The coin's pre-auction estimated value is $1.5 million.
I think that I'll take T in SM's Daggett U.S. Mint bag seal and have them look at it and see if they can come up with a value.
For the forum information I have sent off a photo and letter to Mark Parker of Wester & Eastern Treasure Magazine to see if he could also come up with a value on the Daggett seal.

Brian and Rick - and anyone else who's going, one of our club member's home got robbed today. If you see anyone around there trying to sell a $20 gold coin, $10 gold coin, 2 1/2 peso gold coin, 20-30 silver dollars, and a bunch of barber & seated dimes...check it out. They might be hot...our member doesn't have an exact list but is very upset over the loss of those and several items of good jewelry and cameras. It sounds like, if it was worth something, they took it.

i wish i could watch for gold coin dealings but.... these coin show are very large. plus each dealer carries hundreds of coins and alot of people will be carrying coins as well.
i think this is a lesson we can all learn from. i personally keep all my high dollar coins in a bank safety deposit box. my lesser ones are kept in a safe.

Brian - I'm thinking more of someone who might approach you in the parking lot or just walking around the show. Not someone renting a table to sell their coins. Another club member was going to check some of the local coin shops to alert them to the theft.
