I didn't notice until later tonight that i had found part of a bowl to a clay pipe,what caught my eye was some design's on it that i could see.Wish i had the whole pipe to see it,looked to be a cool desighn.Q: how long did they make these pipe's? I would like find a whole there perty cool looking :DHH,Tom

but I think that most of the Clay Pipes we see in the States are from the 1850-1905 era.
The plain smooth pipes usually are earlier and the design/fancier pipes date in the latter part of the 1800's or early 1900's.
Great age indicators that old coins are around!

Yes i have OT they are cool looking.I wouldn't mind finding more,espeacialy like Warren's.The design's on them are real neat,the piece i have has some kind of flower or clover desighn on it,can't tell to much since i have only part of it.Thank's for the history lesson on them.HH,Tom
