Somebody got into my wife's car last night while it was sitting in our driveway. Searched it for goodies and left papers, tapes etc. thrown all over the place. But I think we got the last laugh. We think that the only thing that was taken was a bag of pitted chewed up beach quarters (detector finds) that we use for parking meters. Love to see their faces when they try to spend them! Dan3

You may want to check around some of your local quick-stops, see if anyone been spendin' toast.
Find out who it is, and we'll fix 'm so he can't have kids...............

Hey Dan - sorry to hear about the break in. Same thing happened to me about 6 months ago. They broke my window just to get some loose change in the ashtray.

Thanks everybody it could have been worse! Todd- The last place you would be likely to find anything with a detector is the yard of a person who has been detecting since 1971. Although I was out playing with the neighbor's dog a couple of days ago and found a wheat penny on top of the ground. Must have fallen out of my pouch. Hate when that happens, at least it wasn't a silver. Dan3

You know I one would think that, But I have never detected my yard! Ive thought about it but everytime I walk outside the park is only 5 houses down from me.... I go to turn on my machine but all I can hear is the calling of children playing in the sandbox, couples picknicking and the large soccer field with people playing soccer throwing a frisbee and all ofcourse my favorite... the numerous cartwheels being performed by those with lots of change in their pocket!
/sigh
