On Thursday, May 15th, there will be a lunar eclipse. It is supposed to start at 7:03 PDT and be at midpoint (I've seen two different times) at either 8:13 PDT or 8:40 PDT. It will be visible throughout North America except in the extreme northwest. One description said it will be a total lunar eclipse, so if you like celestial events, this will be a good one.
I know, it will seem strange to be looking up instead of down.......

Thanks for the "heads up" so to speak GZ. I wear a baseball cap with a large bill when I'm detecting so it dosen't hurt so much when I walk into a tree cuz I'm looking down. Dan3
