hi all.
a few weeks ago i posted an eight silver day at a sidewalk demo in front of an old library in riverside. well, the sidewalk has been installed, but the parking strip is still bare dirt. there were piles of dirt sitting there until recently. the piles have been removed and the strip has been moved around a bit. i hit it today with good results. i found four wheats '19-'57, '41 merc, '53 rosie, and...drumroll please...my second V-nickel! no date on that sucker but i'm happy as a clam. all coins were less than two inches deep. the merc was on the surface. i will be keeping my eye on that strip for further scrapes.

If you want to find a B.B. 15 ft. down...use a LOBO S.T.
