Probably not a good time to post, with the forum going to be down for a while Anyway , can anybody shed any light on the "BILL ROSE" token? ?? It's not in my Kappen book Found In Tulare at a site were they demolished an old home By the address, I thought maybe L.A. Front: BILL ROSE 114 Wash. Ave. So. Back: Good for 5c in trade At bar As for the tax token it's the first time Iv'e seen one that wasn't aluminum Going on vacation Wed. I checked my maverick books but I was unable to locate any info on this token. I would suggest doing a search of towns with this street.

"Wash" is probably short for "Washington". If so, that's not going to help. There are hundreds of "Washington" streets around CA. Not a very unique street name.
