Found my first Walking Liberty,See's been around the block a bit,but sees all mine.Found her in a parking strip about 2 inches down in sandy soil.I thought the signal was to good to be true, but dug it any way.No date on it but what a way to start off on my first silver of the year. Fred

Great find, Fred. With that much wear makes one think that it may be a very early WLH. Congratulations.

Great Job!
She's purdy!
Now that's a nice way to start a silver streak. Off with a big bang!

Great find!! I've only spent a small fraction of my hunting time on parking strips, but my oldest find,1892 V nickle and my best,1913sBarber dime both came out of neighborhood parking strips within about half a mile of my house. Great finds in small spaces! Gary

Way to go, Fred!! Beautiful coin, despite the wear. I'm still looking for my first. You know, I keep looking at parking strips everywhere we go--I really need to get out and hit those more often. That's one place, though, where I feel very self-conscious--I just hate the thought of poking around out in front of people's homes. Oh well, no rewards for those unwilling to risk...
HH,
Dan
