Apparently they haven't as yet commissioned a design for the new nickel.
I would like to see our resident coin designer OT, get the contract.
OT, do you know who Lewis and Clark were? I think they played shortstop and second base for the 1987 San Francisco Giants, don't quote me on that, it could have been, "86"
Submit a design OT, your a shoo-in...................

By golly OT, I think your right about Louie & Clark. I have a vague recollection of the two, I caught there act one night in Philly. Louie says, "who's on first" and Clark says, " " I can't remember what Clark said, but they were funny, Hahahahahafarthahaha........... I wish you would reconsider the Nickel design, you are sooooooooooo talented.................... R~

i noticed the article did'nt say anything about the huge controversy over the change. the state the monticello is in, is very much against the change. i can't remember the state, but the government there was really upset over the idea. i hope they put out a $2 coin next.

;D I would be happy to see some real silver dollars go around... Instead of just for collecting, in circulation!! They would fall out of pockets easy cuz they are heavy and we could find them easy to cuz they are so big!!
