Today i was tryin to get to certain parts of out Kinzli fofum, and multiple times it told me, to many connections, try again in 30 seconds, and it wouldnt let me into a certain part of the forum. Well i kept tryin and sometimes it would work, but a lot of the times it stopped me sayin to many connections. Is it normal, or am i doin somthin? Its kind of a pain cuz u have to wait a bit to access parts of the forum. Im not complainin i just want to know wats up. Thanx in advance.

Oh, I know dat feeling! I almost didn't come back. Too much of a hassell with trying to get activation code inputted. Kept telling me wrong number try again and then all of a suden I was at the forum.
Now do I have to do that with all my computers?
Still can't recieve any mail from the forum to aol accounts. Had a devil of a time so I did a no no!

Yes, the "Too many connections" and the activation key problems are both biggies right now with me too (I'm trying to help numerous people with this). AOL blocks a lot of emails from proboards.com - so you can never get the activation key. This is obviously a problem, for which proboards says the solution is for the AOL user to get a hotmail or yahoo mail account. That's bogus. The "Too many connections" issue is up in the air. I'm thinking it will calm down as the forums are under heavy use now due to the upgrade. If it doesn't go away, this is just yet another reason to bail from proboards. Keep posted, I'm working on a few alternatives that I'll present folks with and we can decide what to do. Sorry, wish I had a better answer.

Hey Jeff, thanks for working so hard on all this. but, I have to say that my problem was similar to blue's, I don't have AOL and still had to try 5 times to get back on, the fifth being last time I was gonna try before giving up. I was pretty frustrated. I can't get the avatar going. when I select one, it comes up blank. Not that there is really an awesome selection anymore or anything. I'm finding this place quite disappointing compared to the other, but who am I to complain

Me too. Sent Jeff a message about this forum and it's web hoster. He seems to do well with it and I know it has been up for a year or two. www.ighunters.net/phpBB2/index.php
