I am not sure of the exact numbers. I think it is more of a balance thing for me. I hunt for extended periods in grass. When I encounter tall grass using the 1400 I sort of struggle to keep the coil where I like it If you are local to Livermore you are welcome to give it a try. Dan

I recall reading that it is 8 ounces (1/2 pound) heavier than the stock coil.
I suppose that you could get a pretty nice weight balance by playing with the lower shaft length, but you still have to cope with the increased inertia at the end of each swing.
