Any one up for a beach hunt this weekend in So CA?

Vern or Trogdor it is going to be cool where you guys live. Hot where I am (Brea) and a scorcher where Gary C and Ferman are.

Any of you guys want to get up real early and GO POUND SAND this weekend?

Anybody else that feels like a drive is welcome also. I am about a 45 min drive from most beaches. (going south or west)

Dan, Can't get away this weekend. I might shoot for 8/18, 19, 20 though when the tide is better for me (not great). The whole month into the next is so so for low tides. But if your a sand guy you can hit it everyday. Catch ya when I can catch ya. GaryC/SanBdno.

I know it's a bit late, but Dan and I are meeting at 6 AM at Pederson's Detectors at 2521 North Grand, Santa Ana. Here's a link to an interactive map:
