MT and I hit Flood Park yesterday and in the spirit of "Wino Cap" park, I think we should rename this place "Corona Cap" park...they're everywhere!!! It was definitely a test of picking through the trash to find the goodies, but I did come up with a few...a 1920 Merc, 1964D Rosie, and 4 wheaties ('45D, '46, '46S, and '55D). HH Mike

Nice going Mike at Corona Cap Park. "Everywhere"...that doesn't even start to describe them Got skunked by you again, but my Wheatie count was the same as yours and my Roosie was older than yours and easier to dig ;D HH, MT

Nice job, Mike. That's a great selection from Flood Park. Tristan and I hunted there with MT, Bill, and Dave. You aren't kidding about all the bottle caps. That whole park is like one big trash heap. Nice to see some goodies coming out of there. I didn 't manage any silver during my hours there, although I was lucky enough to find a very old piece of gold filigree. Can't wait to get back there sometime!
HH,
Dan

So, uh, mike. Did any of those Corona caps come attached to full bottles?
So MT got a teens merc? Looks like you guys did all right considering all the background noise from those bottle caps. That might be a good place to take a bunch of easy to use cheap detectors and offer free lessons to any and all comers. Just leave the machines in all metal mode and then after a couple hundred pounds of caps have been removed by the students follow up for the deep ones. Ain't I a stinker.
