I was out hunting a park near my work this afternoon when I got a 00 29 signal on the Explorer. I thought that I had found a clad quarter. I dug down about 4 inches and out popped a very worn Standing Liberty Quarter. The date is completely worn off, but I'm still happy I found it. I also found a 1945s wheatie and $2.90 in clad.

wow man thats some nice finds, way to go with that quarter. thats a bummer you can't read those dates on them, because i have one that i got at a speed hunt thing and i can't see the date. wow, 2.90 in clad, i have only gotten about 2.00 in clad total!!

Awesome Marc, That is a great coin to find! I would rather get a dateless SLQ than a silver Washington any day. Congrats, JimClick
