Hi All,
I am hoping to hook up with some experienced detectorists in my neck of the woods. I never really know my availability, but would really like the opportunity to hook up and dig. I am now using an MXT, and really want to give it a go some where.
email at dboy@facilities-dynamics.us
Thanks and HH

Me too, dboy! I can't say much about being an experienced detectorist but I also want to get out and hunt. I use an XLT and have minimal experience but hey, learning is half the fun, right?
I'm available most weekends and since it's getting dark later, maybe during the week.
I live in Santa Clara for now but will be moving to Eastridge area sometime in June.
Let me know if you are interested.

Hey Stonebreaker,
My availability is questionable too but weekends should be OK. I don't know about city parks in the area but I do know that you can purchase a permit ($40) from the SC County Park station on Lark Ave. to hunt the County Parks. I got one last year. It's woth it to get one. I got checked by a Ranger at Stevens Creek last year and continued to hunt. I'm told that Coyote Creek turns up some good finds. Let me know when you are available.

If you join the Santa Clara Valley Treasure Hunters you get the parks permit included in your membership and save about $25. The meetings are usually announced on this forum as well....
