Hey Eric, Get your digging tools ready and get Tom Tanner a place lined up for your two molettes when they arrive in mid November. As you can see one of them already is sporting an XLT "just like pop's" and the other is flashing a Minelab banner. Congrats to you and the wife!! HH, Paul

Thanks Ron, I'm thinking of doing an entire group cartoon of the forum "already have you sketched out in my mind as well as a few of the others" all metal detecting related. Most are funny cartoons with a certain find or something we can relate that detectorist too I'll have to ask the guys and gals as well as Jeff if it's OK to draw up a cartoon poster, Don't want to offend anyone either. HH, PAUL

Sounds great Ralph, Dan Goldhart and Ron,
Years ago, I did serious portraits of friends and family members of both oil painting or of charcoal. Although it's been many years of not stroking a brush or holding a charcoal pencil, I still have a steady hand to stir up something fun.
Give me a few weeks to clear up a few odds and ends, I'll start the poster size drawing in a few weeks and then reduce the size down to fit my scanner. I'll try to fit in as many members as possible, Maybe make it a club coin hunt of some sort?
I'm looking forward to creating each of you into a cartoon that best describes you with metal detecting. As long as Jeff's OK with this, I'll start within a few weeks.
HH, Paul

Thanks Jeff, I'll keep the cartoons clean and may do several drawings to squeeze in the bunch, Won't post any until all are competed. I'll be about three weeks, Well worth the wait. Thanks again, HH, Paul Jimmy! I would never humiliate you intently. Although I should, You've been pressing your luck lately "two wrongs don't make a right, so I won't do as you do to others" I do look forward to fitting you into a cartoon that best describes you, Hope we're still friends after you see yourself in dressed in charcoal HH, Paul

Thanks Eric and Tom (OT) I'm looking forward to putting together several drawings of the group, I'll post all of them back to back giving the forum a great show I've already got the two of you planned out and just need to transfer the cartoon images in my hollow head to paper. You guys will enjoy seeing yourself from the cartoon side. Wait until you see Jeff, Dan goldhart, Dan Central Ca, and many of the others. Thanks again, HH, Paul
