Hi Dandaman, There is never any telling what you may dig up when relic hunting, and it depends on when the mines where in operation. Might be interesting to find out if the miners lived near by and if you have access to where they used to live. It sounds like you will be hunting in all metal mode, but I would recommend some degree of discrimination to start with. Detect all around the areas you have access to, and try to find age indicators, items you know to be really old. When you find an area that is producing a lot of age indicators, then I would think you should dig in all metal. Good luck, be safe and have fun. JimClick

Your going into a mine? Man that sounds like fun! Just remeber to go in very prepared. You might be surprised who is living in there. (snakes, critters etc). Just so that you are careful.
Dig EVERYTHING!

haha ok, lotta water. im actaully not going on the planned date because of school finals, but later i will check it out. at first i thought you were going to say some homeless man lives in there. ok, i will tell you what happens guys thanks.
