Hey y'all
About 15 years ago I got a Bounty Hunter md for my birthday. I used it for a while and then put it away and forgot about it. A few weeks ago I decided to pull it out and take it to the beach and I discovered that it had been crushed by more forgoten junk in the closet. After a few hours on the computer I found a repair site in Gilmer Texas. Before I send it off for about $100 worth of repairs, I was wondering if someone could tell me what the model number is? It may not be worth repairing. The only id I can find on it is the number BH-85-2801 printed inside the battery compartment. There are 3 knobs and a low battery light on the control panel. The upper left "position" knob has 4 settings ---power off - on - notch - auto notch. The upper right "sensitivity" knob can be turned from low to high and has an " N " at the center position. The lower left "Disc./Notch" knob also rotates from low to high, but there is no " N". The low battery light is in the lower right position of the control panel. The handle has a thumb activated toggle switch labeled "mode" with 3 positions --- Tune (to the left) - All Metal (middle) - Disc ( to the right). The needle pointer above the control knobs is labeled "Relative coin depth" and this is printed above a scale that begins at 10 on the left and decreases to 1 on the right. Below the scale is printed "Recovery System" I know this is a long letter, but there was no way I could post a picture.
Thanks for your help.
