Nope, not too late. Good thing I opened my email before me and my husband started packing!! I think what you're saying about the beach near the wooden rollercoaster is Mission Beach? I know that. That would be great. Someone suggested Coronado beach also. We will check it out too. I'm so excited!!! Tomorrow is the day. Well I wish to God it won't rain! Thanks for the advice!!! If you wanna give us a call when we're there, my number is 201-9208589. Leave a message. Maybe we can hunt together. Me and my husband are pretty excited to have someone to hunt with. Take care!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I just got home from California. To those who wanted to meet up and go hunting together, I am soooo sorry. It was raining so hard, plus my family kept pulling me to eat at their houses so I never had a chance to call any of you or meet up. I only tried detecting in Mission Beach and Coronado Island. Didn't find much, just a few pennies and quarters. It was fun though when the sun finally showed up!! NO, I didn't have a problem in the Airport check-in. I just made sure I checked my detectors in and piled some clothes all around them so it wouldn't get heavily bumped in the travel.
Well, thank you so much for all your help. I will be back in CA in the summer time, so I can make sure that the weather will be on my side!! Take care. Vacation over, back to reality.
