Zman, Jeff and Goldhart put a list of "free" hosting sites up in the LINKS section. Check some of those out. Some are easier to understand than others. I tried a few, but many had changed to putting charges on you.
AlamedaGayle is right about uploadit, it was the easiest. But last time I tried it, they wanted money.
Your provider gives you free space to host pictures. They usually have a help demo site to go to to help create you own webpage where you can post pictures on your own providers site for free. I had done this a few years ago that I used for Ebay, but have not tested it yet here yet, but do expect it to work fine.
Once you get all the ducks in a row the light bulb seems to click on and you get it. Getting there can be a real fight though, especially if you are trying to do it all alone. If possible find someone to help you with a hands on. Thats what I had to do. I Asked my brother who is more up on this stuff.
Good Luck. Being able to post pictures is most of the fun here. GaryC/SanBdno.

Zman, I used Uploadit today on the forum, no charge. I signed up and it's still free. I think you are limited to 5 uploads a day. That's all I need. It's easy. Give it a try. Also, go to page two of Help for beginners. Click on photo posting help. It's very helpful. Hey if I can do it anyone can. AG
